Performance Car Buying Guide at Mercedes-Benz of St. Charles

At Mercedes-Benz of St. Charles, we love to show off all of our models for customers to consider. We have a large selection of new Mercedes-Benz cars, but our favorite is the performance cars. These have the power and luxury that set them apart from the other cars on the road, and below are just a few of the performance models on our lot.

2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class:

Engine: 2.0-liter four-cylinder

Output: 241 hp, 273 lb-ft of torque

Transmission: nine-speed automatic

2017 Mercedes-Benz S-Class:

Engine: turbocharged 4.7-liter V8

Output: 449 hp, 516 lb-ft of torque

Transmission: nine-speed automatic

2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class:

Engine: turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder

Output: 241 hp, 273 lb-ft of torque

Transmission: seven-speed automatic

2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

This is a midsize luxury sedan, seven-passenger wagon, or a four-passenger coupe or convertible. The features on this vehicle range from items like Apple CarPlay to a power liftgate for the wagon. There are also premium packages that can be added on. This model comes standard with rear-wheel drive.

2017 Mercedes-Benz S-Class

This Mercedes-Benz model also has many great luxury features. In addition to that engine, there are four more engines. The next is a turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 that puts out 523 hp and 612 lb-ft of torque. Another version of this engine for the AMG® S 65 puts out 621 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque. Then there is a turbo 5.5-liter V8 that delivers 577 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque and a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that is paired to an electric motor for the plug-in hybrid model.

2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class

This Mercedes-Benz model comes as a sedan, coupe, and convertible. In addition to the standard engine, there is a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 that delivers 362 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque and a turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 that puts out 469 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. Some of the standard equipment on this model include synthetic leather upholstery, driver-seat memory settings, and the COMAND® infotainment system. Buyers also have plenty of upgraded features to add on, such as heated and ventilated seats and a panoramic sunroof.
